Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As an Engineer in Cyber Security you will deploy, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools to ensure the security infrastructure remains effective. The ideal candidate should have experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and vulnerability management tools. This role involves close collaboration with other security and IT teams to enhance our overall security posture. The position aims to create a proactive security environment by supporting the management of threat detection tools, enabling Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. to stay ahead of real-world threats and attacks.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Deploy and configure core cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management) to support organizational security objectives.
  • Monitor the health and performance of security tools, applying updates and patches to maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Assist in incident response by leveraging security tools to provide accurate data and support threat detection and mitigation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common tool-related issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers or vendors as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate tools into enterprise systems and automate routine tasks using basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
  • Participate in evaluating tool effectiveness and recommend improvements under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and workflows to ensure consistency and scalability across the team.
