__________ DIGITAL SERVICES DIVISION | RATONGA MATIHIKO Te mahi | The role Join a team that’s pushing the boundaries of audio visual engineering. As part of Enterprise Digital Support, you’ll help design, build and support the technology that underpins learning and teaching across the University. We work fast, solve complex problems, and develop AV functionality that goes beyond what current platforms offer, including gearing up for a major next generation AV rollout that will shape our environment for years to come. Our ideal candidate can step confidently into real-time system programming and integrated AV environments, with strong hands on experience in QSC Q Sys and familiarity with Crestron SIMPL. You’ll enjoy turning complex technical requirements into reliable, elegant solutions. In this role you’ll be designing, configuring, programming and deploying AV and room-automation systems, troubleshooting complex integrated environments, contributing specialist technical advice and leading small AV delivery projects from design through to commissioning – this role really does do it all. Kā pūkeka me kā wheako | Your skills and experience • Proven experience programming and deploying QSC Q Sys • Experience with Crestron SIMPL or similar control systems • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capability in integrated AV environments • Solid grounding in real time or embedded systems • Sound knowledge of AV-over IP networking • Understanding of audio/video formats, codecs and networked AV • Relevant IT/AV qualification or industry experience • Proficiency with text-based programming languages If you want to build solutions that go beyond off the shelf AV and be part of a team redefining what’s possible, we’d love to hear from you.
