Description

Responsibilities The successful candidate’s role will be as an engineering designer within the 'UK iCRC Local Government./ Communities' team producing drainage engineering designs and construction drawings. You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and be active on a number of projects at any given time. Key Competencies / Skills: Mandatory Skills Demonstrable experience in at least 2 of the following areas: Drainage Engineering & Design Development Infrastructure Design Residential Design Design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) Hydraulic Design and Modelling Preparation of Development Drainage Strategies You will be computer literate having a working knowledge of drainage design software such as Micro Drainage Windes or similar software packages. A proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel is also expected. Cultural awareness, an open mind and good English communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work as part of a team. You will be quick to pick up new ideas and skills and be able to think laterally to generate new solutions to problems.
