We’re currently seeking a keen and passionate Drill & Blast Engineer to join our high-performing team at the QCoal Northern Hub—a unique site just an hour’s drive from the stunning Whitsundays. Imagine living by the beach and being home every night, while working on an interesting and dynamic project, growing your skills and career.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of open cut drill and blast best practices and proven experience across the full drill and blast process—from drill prep through to tie-up and firing. You’ll report to the Senior Mining Engineer and work collaboratively to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality blasting outcomes in a variety of geological conditions.
We also welcome applications from talented Mining Engineers looking to transition into the drill and blast space—you’ll be supported every step of the way.
