We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical and Control Engineering team and provide technical assistance primarily in the bauxite processing plants, stockyards and export facilities. As a key member of the centralised Assets and Operational Services team, you will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of asset classes, including rail assets, beneficiation plants, ship-loaders, wharfs, bridges, power stations, ancillary mining services assets, town assets, and other civil infrastructure.

Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer you will:

  • Work alongside other engineering, technical and trade disciplines to provide sustainable and efficient solutions to engineering problems affecting plant stability
  • Facilitate and participate in risk assessments, production and safety incident investigations
  • Conduct reliability assessments to determine major causes of downtime
  • Implement improvement projects or raise detailed maintenance notifications to ensure defect elimination
  • Manage bridging and forcing registers and resolving underlying issues
  • Ensuring engineering resources, structure and systems are in place to support maintenance processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory and legislative provisions
