Job Description We are seeking a talented and innovative Electromechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electromechanical systems and products that integrate both electrical and mechanical components. Design and develop cutting-edge electromechanical systems and products using CAD software and engineering principles Analyze and optimize existing electromechanical systems to improve performance and efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components in product designs Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects and product improvements Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures Troubleshoot and resolve complex electromechanical issues in existing products Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and drive innovation Participate in product testing and quality assurance processes Provide technical support to manufacturing and field service teams Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department Integrate automation, control systems, and IoT technologies into electromechanical designs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical engineering or product design Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including industrial control systems Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail Proven experience in product design and development Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to electromechanical systems Understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on product design Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Knowledge of automation and control systems Familiarity with IoT technologies and their integration in electromechanical systems Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related purposes Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
