In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining various ELV systems, including security, access control, CCTV, fire alarms, and building management systems. Design and develop ELV system layouts and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and constraints Create detailed project plans and specifications for ELV system installations Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems with other building systems Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing ELV systems Ensure compliance with local building codes and industry standards Provide technical support and training to clients and team members Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in ELV systems Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical reports and as-built drawings Qualifications Key Responsibilities: Design and engineering of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as Fire Alarm Systems, Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) Systems, Instrumentation, and Building Management System (BMS)/SCADA, covering control and monitoring of facilities MEP equipment including HVAC, lighting, power, fire systems, access control, and security systems for infrastructure projects. Design and engineering of Integrated Security Systems including Video Surveillance Systems (CCTV), Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), physical security systems, gate barriers, and related subsystems. Design and engineering of ICT/Telecommunication systems, encompassing both active and passive networks—campus backbone cabling, structured cabling infrastructure, IP telephony, wireless data networks, and intercom systems. Develop system architecture for Telecom, Security, and ELV networks, including selection and configuration of network switches, routers, firewalls, and other critical IT infrastructure components. Experience in working in Infra road projects and hands-on knowledge in working of ITS, ITMA, LHD & TVS systems. Execute design and calculations for cable containment systems and conduits interconnecting various facility areas. Apply hands-on knowledge of middle east and international design standards (NFPA, DBC, BS-EN, ISO, IEEE, BICSI, TIA, etc.). Prepare tender documents, design reports, technical specifications, material requisitions, data sheets, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) as per project requirements. Prepare and evaluate Technical Bid Analysis (TBA)/Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), and review technical data sheets, vendor drawings, and shop drawings submitted by contractors or suppliers. Demonstrate proficiency in modelling, drafting, and multi-disciplinary coordination using BIM tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and Revizto. Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure technical integrity and consistency across the overall design. Evaluate and advise on ICT, Security, and ELV-related design modifications, non-conformances, and compliance to project and client requirements. Remain adaptable and willing to take on new challenges in line with evolving business needs. Good communication skill and shall be able to work in a multi-disciplinary team across globe in different time zone Qualifications and Experience: B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. 7–13 years of experience in ELV and ICT system design. Proficiency in simulation software for CCTV coverage analysis, heatmap generation, PA simulation, and GSM network design.
