Description

We are seeking a highly motivated QA and Validation Engineer with hands-on experience in embedded system testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating firmware and hardware designs, ensuring product reliability, and supporting automation initiatives. This role is critical to maintaining high standards in smart power systems, including IoT-enabled smart breakers and related devices. => Design and execute test plans and test cases for embedded systems across various stages of development. => Perform manual and automated testing of firmware and hardware modules. => Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, power sources, multimeters, and debuggers for validation and troubleshooting. => Design and create hardware & Simulated test setup. => Capability to troubleshoot the fault cause by Firmware or Hardware in case of failure. => Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts for regression and system-level testing. => Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, and systems engineering to identify and resolve issues. => Conduct IoT connectivity testing (BLE, Wi-Fi, etc.) for smart power devices. => Document test results, maintain traceability, and support compliance with UL and other regulatory standards. => Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. => Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline. => 4-6 years of experience in embedded system QA and validation. => Proficiency in using debuggers, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and AC & DC power sources. => Working knowledge of Python scripting for test automation. => Exposure to smart power systems, GFCI, smart breakers, or IoT device testing. => Good communication and documentation abilities. => Experience with test management tools and version control systems (e.g., Git). => Experience with Jira and Atlassian test management tools and Defect management tools, version control systems (e.g., Git). => Familiarity with compliance testing (UL, IEC standards). => Knowledge of BLE/Wi-Fi stack validation and cloud connectivity testing." B.E/Btech or M.E/Mtech 3-5 Years Embedded product QA Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with various cultures across the globe
