Description
Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. Adhere to company's environmental safety health policy and procedure, standard operating procedure with risk assessment, good housekeeping standard and policy when performing work Ensuring implementation of systems and procedures required to attain department goals and objectives Managing resources as necessary to achieve desired goals and objectives Detail understanding of design philosophy/concept of Facilities utilities systems to manufacturing production tools. Oversee all stages of cleanroom tool hook-up, including pre-installation planning, equipment rigging, placement, and utility connections such as bulk and specialty gases, chemicals, ultra-pure water, exhaust, power, and chilled water. Collaborate closely with facility engineers, equipment vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of tools into the fabrication infrastructure. This includes coordination regarding wall penetrations, structural supports, ductwork, piping, conduit, and other interfacing requirements. Review and authorize hookup designs, P&IDs, and engineering documentation. Develop and maintain comprehensive schedules for tool installations, track project progress, communicate status updates to senior management, and proactively address delays or challenges as they arise. Manage cleanroom-related projects, including upgrades and expansion initiatives. Ensure all tool installations and operations adhere to cleanroom protocols, environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, and relevant industry standards. Conduct quality and safety inspections following installation to verify compliance. Plan and execute equipment hookup for new, conversion, unhooking and relocation tools, to meet high quality standard, dynamic schedule and forecasted budget Plan, track and update utilities database to support manufacturing production tools Plan and track capital and expense expenditure related to tool install Review and approve equipment hookup drawing Manage all tool install contractors site work activities to comply EHS related regulations, risk assessment, safe work procedures and permit to work system Coordinate with equipment engineers to finalize utilities release schedule and special requirements Perform utilities and cleanroom system troubleshooting, conduct compressive root-cause analysis and implement effective CA/PA to prevent re-occurrence Lead and develop for continual improvement of documentation in Standard Operating Procedure, Risk Assessment and Installation procedure Manage outsourced contract service provider to performance work activities in accordance to service agreement Control costs associated with your area minimizing regular expenditures and promote cost reduction projects Ensure all materials and manpower ordered are needed and used to complete activities To perform site activities in accordance to Facilities discipline Coordinate MOR/Funding cycle new tool scenario study based on tool location and technical specification, coordinate with Planning IE/Layout team and Facilities system owners to evaluate utilities base build projects and cost impact required for the new tool Drive continual quality improvement, reliability improvement and cost reduction programs for tool-install activities to support department, site, Facilities global goals Support Facilities global tool-install, site wide tool-install cost reduction, best known methods alignment across network sites Must have Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical) from a recognized institution. Knowledge in Facilities systems is a plus. Good project management and presentation skills. Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills Proficiency in automation and programming skills is a plus Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
