Job Description You design and implement PCB and FPGA designs for use in our laboratory and medical products. You simulate circuits and take responsibility for the integration and validation of designs at module and system levels. You develop algorithms for digital signal processing and implement them. You create test software to verify and validate hardware and FPGA designs using Python and C++. You implement communication protocols such as USB and PCI Express (PCIe) and integrate them into FPGA-based systems. Qualifications You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification and already have professional experience in the relevant field. You possess solid knowledge in circuit development and multiple years of experience with FPGA design using modern development tools such as Vivado or Questasim. Ideally, you have experience in analyzing photonic signals (e.g., photomultipliers, SiPMs) as well as in developing and real-time processing of signal processing algorithms in VHDL on FPGA systems, particularly in the field of flow cytometry. You have experience with USB and PCIe protocols and their integration into FPGA designs. You have strong skills in developing test software and algorithms using Python and C++.
