SECTION I: ROLE INTRODUCTION Outlines the basic information of the role. Job Title Engineer – FQC Reporting To Manager   Location Gangaikondan Grade/ Level SD   Job Objective   To ensure the final quality of solar modules by conducting thorough inspections, validating product compliance with customer and industry standards, and driving quality improvements across final inspection and dispatch processes. Key Responsibilities     Responsibilities KPIs 1) * Conduct final inspections of solar PV modules as per defined quality standards and inspection protocols. * Verify electrical, visual, and mechanical parameters before module release. * Ensure compliance with IEC standards, customer-specific requirements, and internal quality norms. * Perform EL, Hi-Pot, Wet Leakage, Flash Test and other quality checks.   2) * Detect, classify, and record defects during final inspection. * Support root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce final-stage rejections. * Monitor rework loops to ensure only conforming modules are dispatched. 3) * Maintain accurate inspection records, test data, and module release documentation. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly FQC reports covering rejection trends, defect analysis, and quality metrics. * Ensure full traceability of modules through barcode/serial number verification. 4) * Inspect and approve modules for customer shipments based on order specifications. * Support customer inspections, audits, and sample evaluations when required. * Address customer concerns by providing inspection data and technical clarifications. SECTION VI: ROLE PROFILE REQUIREMENTS   Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (EEE / ECE / Mechanical ). Experience 4–6 years of experience in solar module manufacturing, quality inspection, or testing.
