Job Description: Job Title: Engineer Frontend-Web Corporate Title: AVP Location: Pune, India Role Description: As a Frontend Engineer, you will be an integral part of our software development projects, specializing in using Angular to create new, cutting-edge online banking customer processes. You will collaborate with multiple teams to develop innovative, reusable front-end components for online banking and various other applications. Your focus will be on the critical further development of online banking business processes, particularly in the context of security procedures, payments, and transactions. You will demonstrate strong hands-on experience, serving as a key contact for all frontend-related topics and questions, providing guidance to junior Frontend Engineers, and supporting other team members. You will also deliver training sessions, promoting knowledge transfer as part of our frontend guild and other meetings. Leveraging your expertise, you will ensure solutions are highly scalable and operate flawlessly under very high load scenarios, supporting more than 50,000-100,000 parallel customer accesses. Collaborate with various teams to develop new, reusable front-end components for online banking and other applications. Focus on the further development of critical online banking business processes, particularly concerning security procedures and payments/transactions. Act as a primary contact for all frontend-related topics and questions, providing guidance to junior Frontend Engineers and other team members. Deliver training sessions to other development teams and facilitate efficient knowledge transfer through our frontend guild and other meetings. Ensure that developed solutions are highly scalable and can operate flawlessly under very high load scenarios (e.g., 50,000-100,000+ parallel customer accesses). Work on high-visibility web applications crucial for customer experience and Deutsche Bank’s reputation. Your skills and experience Several years of professional experience and expert knowledge (both practical) in Single Page Applications with Angular, RxJS, and TypeScript in combination with REST-based APIs. Several years of professional experience and expert knowledge (both practical) with responsive design focused around HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS (especially Bootstrap 4+). Advanced knowledge and practical experience in Frontend testing using Karma/Jasmine or Jest. Knowledge within the framework of WCAG 2 AA Compliance (Accessibility). Experience in the NX mono repository toolset (a plus). Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong independence and initiative, and the ability to work effectively in agile delivery teams. Experience in technical and methodological coaching of junior UI/UX Engineers and active participation in the continuous development of colleagues.
