Description
Working Location: Tuen Mun   Applications are invited for the above vacancy in Black Point Power Station (BPPS). The appointee will be responsible for the Power Plant maintenance including BPPS Generation Units, Electrical and Control System and Auxiliary System in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner. Major duties include:    * Ensure all the maintenance activities under their responsible areas are carried out in a timely manner and meet the requirements for safety, availability, reliability and efficiency. * Review engineering documentation, draft technical and commercial contract specifications and prepare maintenance procedures. * Carry out effective maintenance of plants and equipment including fault diagnosis and emergency repair work in power plant systems. * Supervise, direct, and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary work teams and contractors’ workforce to carry out overhaul jobs and other maintenance activities to ensure consistent work quality and job safety are maintained at all times. * Regular review existing preventive maintenance strategy: identify room for continuous improvement and explore innovation applications to enhance maintenance effectiveness, with effective spare management.  * Handle projects and assist in formulating medium-term and long-term investment strategies. * Carry out ad-hoc operational activities under assignment. * Work on 3-shift basis or non-shift basis according to business needed.   Requirements: * A recognized university degree or equivalent in electrical / electronic / instrument mechanic / information technology or related disciplines plus at least 3 years relevant working experience.   * Solid experience in engineering, maintenance, or installation of electrical or process control equipment, i.e. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), DCS (Distributed Control System) or SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system, Siemens T3000 control system etc., in power plant or heavy industry. * Having experience in cyber security will be beneficial. * General knowledge of combined cycle power plant. * Holder of Registered Electrical Worker Class A license, CEH Certification, CCNA Certification, CISM or Window Server Training or other relevant is an advantage. * General knowledge in data analytics and processing, computer networking, Internet of Things (IoT) and the related cyber security and vulnerability management is an advantage. * A good team player with strong analytical skill and self-initiative. * Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese. * Familiarity with CLP Power safety, health & environment requirements, engineering standards, codes of practice and the relevant statutory regulations. * Good knowledge of PC operations and Oracle system.  ABOUT CLP CLP was founded in Hong Kong in 1901, at a time when electricity was still a novelty worldwide.
