Description
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Collaborate with partners to understand future tool and process roadmaps, and calculate network capacity impacts of process changes. Responsible for managing, auditing, and validating Probe capacity models and systems to determine network capital requirements. Manage network tool utilization strategies to optimize the company's deployed capital. Develop, supervise and communicate capital change proposals to manufacturing senior leaders through reporting tools (e.g. Tableau) and formal presentation. Build and implement tools to audit manufacturing capital efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunities across the company. Manage and communicate improvement opportunities and implementation plans to all relevant levels and functions in manufacturing. Apply new (e.g. Python) and traditional (Excel, VBA) methods for improving and automating tasks in planning systems/models Successful candidate should have at least 2 years of related experience and Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain or a related field. Position requires completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or 6 months of experience involving the following: 1. Operations Research skills in one of the following: Linear Programming, Queuing Theory, Statistical Analysis, or Theory of Constraints 2. Data analysis and Statistical packages in one of the following: JMP, MINITAB, R, Python, Tableau, PL, or SQL 3. Knowledge of any of the Production Planning and Inventory Control Strategies like BTO/BTT/BTF, Risk Pooling, EOQ, Lot Sizing or MRP 4. Supply Chain Skills in one of the following: lean manufacturing, Customer service measures, or safety stock management 5. Exposure to any of the Project Management techniques like CPM, PERT or Scheduling Experience in Semiconductor industry. Experience in leading and driving a change through multi-functional teams across Global sites
