Description

· Support administration of maintenance on site with the EMMS (Pirana).
· Support administration of SSOW e.g. Isolation, Permit to Work, RAMS, Contractor liaison and Document Control.
· Procurement and managing inventory of critical and other spares.
· Data gathering, research and analysis.
· Planning and implementation of checks and inspections within PPM schedules
· Technical administration and hands on field support with the design, development and ongoing operation of the site’s operating plant.
· Technical support with the design and development and implementation of new projects and improvements.
· Support the coordination of systems in place for managing changes (MOC process), improvements, accidents and incidents.
· Identify and have input with ideas for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) and efficiency improvements in areas of work activity as part of a multi-disciplinary team; prioritising and implementing those improvements.
· Effectively and accurately communicate with colleagues within the production and management teams and other functions within the Gower Chemicals business.
· To be accountable and responsible for own health and safety and for those around them who could be affected by their actions.
· Assist in the coordination of specific requirements associated with COMAH Regulations where engineering practices are required to be demonstrated and technical input applied.
· Where qualified, competent, and authorised to do so, train and coach colleagues.
· Where qualified, competent, and authorised to do so, undertake planned or reactive maintenance activities specific to plant.
· Undertake plant specific analytical testing as required for production activities.
· Undertake plant specific new or refurbished equipment installation testing as required for production activities
· Identify and respond accordingly to emergency situations whilst following emergency procedures.
· Develop, review and publish documentation and reports associated with the role.
On occasion and where necessary, provide support of the above duties to the Swansea site, in conjunction with their Engineering team.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
