JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability * Oversee workshop operations, including repairs, servicing, and breakdown management * Diagnosing faults, performing root cause analysis, and minimizing downtime * Monitor and control maintenance costs within budget * Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with quality standards * Lead and develop the workshop team to improve performance and skills * Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) policies and safe work practices * Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and internal procedures * Manage spare parts, inventory, and supplier coordination * Provide technical support and collaborate with management on operational improvements MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION * Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * 3–5 years of experience in heavy equipment or vehicle maintenance * Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, diagnostics, and workshop operations * Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and ISO standards * Technical expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems * Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Strong leadership, planning, and team management abilities * Basic budgeting and cost control knowledge * Proficiency in MS Office (ERP knowledge is an advantage) * Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure If you think you have what it takes to be successful in this challenging role, please apply within 10 days of this advertisement by email to sankalpa.weerasinghe@advantis.world [sankalpa.weerasinghe@advantis.world] indicating the position applied for and the company name on the subject line of the email.
