Job Title: Engineer I, Equipment LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. Come join the leader in advanced EV batteries! www.lgenergymi.com [http://www.lgenergymi.com]   Summary As an Equipment Engineer I, you will support the breakdown of equipment, improve equipment for the program and design to increase overall efficiency and productivity. You will also provide education for controls with the plant to distribute company-based knowledge for company-specific equipment.    Responsibilities: * Analyze OEE for frequency of breakdown and up time for daily production. Reporting on OEE (Micro stop, BM, and yield; including 50% of time spent on this responsibility) * Support the completion of production work orders for technology-based (example: PLC program-based and redesign of line) and monitor equipment running post improvement (including 35% of time spent on this responsibility) * Install new technology on the line (example: Installation of lasers) (including 15% of time spent on this responsibility) * Complete daily documentation and audits, as required by position * Follow established work instructions  * Adhere to safety requirements at all times, including the use of proper PPE  * Adhere to general and position-specific dress code requirements * Participate in, and successfully complete, any and all training requirements * Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required  * Maintain cleanliness at the work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standard: Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain / Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container * Perform other duties as assigned    Qualifications:  * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent, relevant experience  Experience: * 1 to 3+ years of experience with installation, modification, analysis, repair and testing of tools, machines and other equipment * Analysis of equipment breakdown data Skills: * Equipment designing programs 2D/3D * MS Office Suite * Collaboration * Internal/External Customer Interaction Physical:  * Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours * Safety glasses * Steel-toed shoes * Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours * Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds * Stoop, twist, bend  * Reach overhead * Sit and/or stand
