Our Engineer I will ensure proper maintenance of the resort through fulfillment of guest requests and on-going preventative maintenance. Responsibilities Responsible for completion of jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management, maintain logbooks. Follow all Safety and Security procedures to protect and ensure the safety of our guests, employees and assets. Maintain a flexible work schedule based on business needs. Provide exceptional customer service in every interaction with owners and guests. Perform basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, painting, tile work, carpeting, and concrete. Proactively address any areas requiring maintenance or repair Installation of major appliances. Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments in a timely manner. Understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment. Effectively handle and fulfill guest maintenance requests in a timely manner and complete all work orders. Keep maintenance shop(s) clean and organized. Maintain inventory log of all supplies to ensure par levels of stock items are on hand at all times. Working knowledge of a 2-way radio. Perform all other job requests as assigned by supervisors. Requirements Must have effective oral and written English communication skills. Six months to one year experience in resort maintenance preferred. Must have working knowledge of minor power tool operation. Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects. Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
