About you: You enjoy building tools that make complex infrastructure feel simple and reliable. You are comfortable moving between writing code and working with virtual infrastructure, and you like seeing your work have a direct impact on how quickly and safely teams can deliver services. You are confident working with languages like Python, C#, JavaScript, T‑SQL, PowerShell and Bash, and you are curious about how to use artificial intelligence tools to speed up development and try out new ideas. You are happy working in a remote team, you communicate clearly, and you enjoy solving tricky problems in a calm, thoughtful way. Day-to-day, you will: Develop and maintain our main internal tool, which deploys and manages virtual infrastructure in our VMware environments. Use artificial intelligence tools to speed up development and to create quick proof of concepts for new ideas and projects. Work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to understand their needs and turn them into automated, reliable solutions. Create and maintain clear documentation for the tools you build, as well as the processes and best practices that support them. Your skills and experiences might also include: Significant experience in Python, C#, JavaScript, T‑SQL, PowerShell and Bash for building and automating applications and tools. Experience with VMware enterprise technologies such as vSphere, vCloud Director and NSX‑T, as well as networking, storage and compute concepts in virtualised environments. Experience with Windows Active Directory domains, Windows systems administration and some exposure to Linux systems administration, plus familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps practices. Experience working independently in remote teams, collaborating across different groups, and explaining complex technical topics in a clear, simple way. What are we all about? Responsibilities
