Description

Key Responsibilities * Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC machines, including screw chillers and thermal products. * Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and BOMs. * Select and integrate electrical components such as MCCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, sensors, heaters, and protection devices. * Support control panel design, power distribution, earthing, and safety interlocks for chiller systems. * Support PLC and HMI programming activities, including basic logic modifications, I/O mapping, tag management, and parameter settings. * Coordinate BMS integration (e.g., BACnet/Modbus) and support testing, signal mapping, and system validation. * Participate in dry testing, DVT, and performance testing of machines in lab and factory environments. * Troubleshoot electrical and control-related issues during development, production, and site commissioning. * Coordinate with Mechanical, Controls, Software, QA, Sourcing, and Service teams for system integration and issue resolution. * Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety guidelines, and company processes. * Support component localization and cost optimization initiatives without impacting quality or performance. Required Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent. * 5+ years of relevant industry experience (Engineer II level). * Strong machine-level experience in HVAC systems, especially screw chiller machines. * Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and VFD-based applications. * Working experience or exposure to PLC and HMI programming in industrial applications. * Knowledge of BMS integration protocols such as Bacnet and Modbus is preferred. * Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagram (FBD). * Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment. * Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and documentation. * Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
