Hotel Maintenance Engineer Shift: Day Sunday-Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm Located in Verdi NV, we are a personable, loyal, and friendly company that shares a connection with each of our guests and team members. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Perform intermediate-level troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. · Maintain pools and hot tubs within NNPH regulations and property needs. · Conduct preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, fans, compressors, controls, and other building systems. · Visually inspect and test vehicle operations as laid out in checklists and report findings. · Replace belts, bearings, filters, seals, valves, and other components as needed. · Perform routine preventive maintenance in and around the hotel , bathrooms, restaurants, and public areas, equipment, pools, etc. · Adjust or replace hardware such as door handles, latches, hinges, drawer slides, etc. · Inspect and maintain tile, flooring, and wall finishes to preserve property standards. · Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing guest-related issues. · Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools. · Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. · Communicate effectively with supervisors, housekeeping, and other departments as needed. FREE EMPLOYEE MEAL per shift! Requirements · Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 3years experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or a related trade. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pumps, etc. Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience. Familiarity with basic preventive maintenance schedules and checklists. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Stand or walk for extended periods and climb stair or ladders. Must possess current CPO license. Must possess a current, valid driver’s license. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
