Why this role Matters: As a key member of the IT Engineering team, you will be designing, developing and maintaining Corporate infrastructure, technologies and solutions, used by the globally distributed Vonage workforce. An ideal candidate for this role is an individual that has a diverse and deep technical background in Microsoft infrastructure. This includes building, enhancing and maintaining Windows server, Active Directory and related infrastructure and services in AWS and Azure , Microsoft 365, and integration with other IT systems and applications. Key Responsibilities: Administer and support Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD) hosted in AWS cloud and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for secure and efficient user access control. Oversee DNS configurations and manage mail routing within our M365 environment to ensure seamless communication. Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and Teams, managing user provisioning, licensing, and troubleshooting. Provide Tier 2/3 support for VDI-related issues. Develop and implement effective patching strategies across server environments to maintain security compliance and system integrity. Set up and administer infrastructure and systems, such as Windows server, Active Directory, SCCM, Virtual Desktop (Amazon Workspaces), shared drives (FSx), public key infrastructure (PKI) etc. Provide advanced technical support for infrastructure-related issues, collaborating with other IT teams to minimize downtime Create and maintain detailed documentation for all systems and procedures, adhering to IT best practices Assist Tier1 corporate support in troubleshooting and addressing technical incidents and end user issues such as provisioning, de-provisioning, access, and configuration as needed. Perform root cause analysis, and contribute to solutions for ongoing improvements. Participate in 24x7 on-call support as necessary. Flexible for rotational shifts, including night shift. What you will bring: Ability to listen, communicate, evaluate, problem solve in a multi tasking team environment. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a systems engineering or similar role focused on Microsoft technologies Experience in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Teams administration. Hands-on experience in managing and supporting VDI infrastructure preferred Amazon WorkSpaces . Strong understanding of system patching methodologies and experience using relevant tools. Experience in Automating day to day tasks using Powershell. Experience in writing technical documentation, including design documents, end user facing documents, and run books. Experience with system monitoring and related metrics. Experience handling production incidents. Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills to peers and managers. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform added advantage. Familiarity with AWS services and Hybrid-cloud environments added advantage. Experience with Microsoft Purview for data cataloging, classification, and compliance is an added advantage. What is Required for application: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant field or equivalent experience. Microsoft Azure Administrator certification or equivalent experience. Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or equivalent experience. Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert or equivalent experience. 3+ years experience in Windows infrastructure administration. 3+ years experience in Microsoft 365 administration. 3+ years experience in managing Azure/AWS cloud native infrastructure. 3+ years experience in Powershell programming.
