By joining us as an Engineer II, Quote and Order Management Marine Solutions, you will provide technical and after-sales support to our global marine industry clients by addressing inquiries, creating proposals, managing order entry and administration, and overseeing the entire quote-to-delivery process. You will ensure timely fulfillment of orders through invoicing and provide after-sales assistance in collaboration with the Marine Lifecycle Service team for global end-users. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Review the RFQ prior to proposal (vessel detail, IMO, trade compliance, commercial-related matter, technical-related matter, etc.). Validate and check model codes and quantities for correctness and applicability based on customer specifications and current product offerings. Validate and calculate costs using offline pricing tools. Coordinate with the sourcing, supplier, factory, or other support group to obtain product and service pricing and lead time (if applicable). Assist/handle customer issues or concerns and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution. Review order for correctness and completeness commercially and technically and manage its booking until invoice or completion. Place and generate purchase order (PO) to intercompany, third-party supplier, or service provider. Coordinate and provide to courier/forwarders all requirements (certification, relevant documents, customs, etc.) for delivery completion. Secure approval prior to booking credits, billings, and Return of Material Authorization in business systems. Book the credit/billing/RMA transactions according to existing procedure. You're a proactive self-starter with a high level of commitment to exceeding expectations. You can proficiently communicate ideas and influence both internal and external customers. You're interpersonally savvy and able to collaborate and efficiently work with people at any level. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control, Chemical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. At least 3 years of relevant experience in quote generation work and order screening tasks.
