Description

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience
  • Experience in Payload technologies

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER

  • Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering Science, Math, or other Engineering disciplines
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), basic tolerance analyses, and drawing practices and interpretation for mechanical hardware
  • Experience in mechanical design, development, and/or test, preferably of defense-related components or systems
  • DoD Secret or Top-Secret Clearance

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible for leading the day-to-day mechanical tasks in order to execute on the Specter portfolio delivering Payload systems and components
  • Coordinates closely with the Program leadership on priorities, effective communication of issues, and schedule impacts and resolutions
  • Coordinate, write, and deliver technical briefs to both internal and external customers typically in CCB and ERB forums
  • Perform mechanical design, development, and documentation of components, sub-assemblies, and major end items for defense system equipment in accordance with system requirements.
