JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer (Engineer II) to join our team and contribute to the development of data-intensive applications. In this role, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing batch and streaming data pipelines while designing and implementing critical components on our data and analytics platform
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Java developer with experience in the Capital Markets domain and a proven track record of building scalable data systems. You are self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and thrive in collaborative environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java and Spring.
  • 5+ years of experience working in the Capital Markets domain, with an understanding of its complexities.
  • Proven expertise in designing scalable, production-grade applications and services.
  • Proficiency in Java technology stack and messaging/streaming frameworks (e.g. Spring, Kafka, Protocol Buffers).
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
