Purpose Statement: Responsible for providing mechanical engineering support in the creation and the development of new medical device products (invasive and non-invasive). Key Responsibilities: Researches, develops, designs, and evaluates mechanical and electro-mechanical materials, components, assemblies, processes and/or equipment. Conducts feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality. Develops new concepts from initial design to market release. Directs support personnel and coordinates project activities. Write and submit intellectual property (patents). Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development. Investigates and evaluates existing technologies. Reviews or coordinates vendor activities to support development. Required qualifications: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. 9-11 years of relevant experience, prior experience in the medical device or healthcare technology domain. Strong experience with Bills of Material (BOM), configuration management, and engineering design documentation. Hands-on experience with Design History File (DHF) preparation and regulatory documentation in compliance with medical device standards. Responsibilities

The Engineer III, Design is responsible for providing mechanical engineering support in the development of new medical device products. This includes researching, designing, and evaluating materials and components, as well as coordinating project activities and maintaining documentation.
