JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges. JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES An Engineer III will work primarily within research and development engineering groups with responsibility for a wide variety of tasks. The primary tasking will be a variety of testing tasks using radars. We are looking for engineers with entry to mid-level skill sets who work well in both theoretical and practical domains as part of an iterative process to create innovative solutions for a multitude of relevant domain challenges as partially described below: * Basic radar signal processing understanding (including phased array and ISAR processing * Basic understanding of all components of the radar range equation * Basic understanding of electromagnetic wave propagation and interaction * Write Code (Matlab, Python, etc.) to analyze and assess specific conditions in radar returns * Articulate, concise, detail-oriented, and rigorous DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Major or Minor in EE, Physics or Statistics is preferred REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited academic institution and four years of related engineering experience, or an accredited Master of Science in Engineering and a minimum of two years of related engineering experience, or an accredited doctorate degree in engineering are required for this position.
