Mott MacDonald is seeking a Mechnical Engineer with an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification to join our team in Orange, CA. This role supports the planning, design, and delivery of multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a consulting or multidisciplinary engineering environment is preferred.

    The expected salary for this position is $91,000 - $112,000
    Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and development of engineering solutions across transportation, water, and built environment sectors.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to support project delivery and troubleshoot field issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Perform data analysis and support problem-solving initiatives to improve project outcomes.
  • Assist in resource planning and utilization to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
