Description

Rosebel Gold Mines N.V. offers an excellent opportunity for recent engineering graduates to join our Engineer in Training (EIT) program within the Mine Technical Services (MTS) department.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Engineering, Geology or relevant Geoscience from the University of Suriname or PTC.
  • Strong academic performance and a passion for learning and professional development.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English, and Dutch is an asset.
  • Valid Suriname Drivers’ license.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English, Mandarin language is an asset.
  • Willingness to work on the mine site in Brokopondo based on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break.
Responsibilities
  • Rotational Training: Participate in multiple training rotations across various departments and functions, gaining exposure to a wide range of technical and operational processes.
  • Practical Experience: Take on real roles and responsibilities in different engineering areas, contributing to the successful execution of projects and operations.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with senior engineers and team members, supporting projects and applying best practices.
  • Skills Development: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Rosebel Gold Mines’ technical workflows and operations, applying academic knowledge in real-world scenarios.
  • Ongoing Learning: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and evaluations to further develop both technical and interpersonal skills.
