OVERVIEW

Integrity Communications Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role provides technical leadership and systems engineering expertise in support of mission-critical initiatives. The Principal Systems Engineer will guide the design, development, integration, and operational support of advanced mission planning applications. This position requires strong collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, a deep understanding of operational and user needs, and the ability to develop innovative engineering solutions that enhance system performance and user experience. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in SATCOM systems engineering or operations, a passion for advancing mission capabilities, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Due to the nature of this work, an active or eligible security clearance and onsite presence are required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in SATCOM systems engineering or operations.
  • Proficiency in SATCOM mission planning and operations fundamentals, including communications and cryptographic planning, implementation, execution, monitoring, training, and testing.
  • Experience with SATCOM space, control, and user segment Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), specifications, requirements, and interface controls.
  • Experience with varied mission area (e.g., strategic, tactical, International Parter, etc.) resource management interfaces.
  • MUST have the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Ability to work onsite due to the classified nature of the project and travel up to 20%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Applied experience with Protected SATCOM (e.g., Milstar, AEHF, EPS, etc.) systems, and/or other multidimensional dynamic resource deconfliction systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of EHF user community, payload, crypto and mission planning, apportionment/allocation, resource monitoring and enforcement, terminal control, and endurance.
  • Experience using Mission Planning Element/Subsystem (MPE/MPSS) and/or other SATCOM mission applications.
  • Familiarity with EHF terminal operations (e.g., FAB-T, SMART-T, NMT, etc.).
  • Experience in software analysis, modeling, and simulation (e.g., SQL, MATLAB, STK, Scripting, etc.).
  • Agile and DevSecOps experience and/or certifications.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and expert Protected Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) mission planning Operations (Ops) and User eXperience (UX) systems engineering support to the integrated agile development process.
  • Be responsible for the Ops/UX informed design, development, integration, testing and operational support for a future Protected MILSATCOM mission planning application.
  • Develop innovative and efficient engineering solutions, collaborating with cross functional teams and users, ensuring the mission planning system meets the Protected SATCOM’s resource management and operations needs.
  • Define and document Ops/UX-focused workflows, User Interfaces (UI), automation, algorithms, system architectures, requirements, tests, and requirements.
  • Advocate operations and users’ needs to design, and potential innovations and improvements to operations and users.
