Description
The Engineer IV, Software is responsible for leading at a team level while designing, developing, and maintaining the OmniCenter platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve existing functionalities, and ensure the reliability of our software solutions. Responsibilities:  * Collaborate with product management to understand business requirements and plan products and features * Work as part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software * Works on significantly complex problems and provides and implements solutions that are highly creative while also regularly guiding others in their solutions * Leading and aiding in code reviews for fellow team members, as required * Create unit tests to help ensure code quality throughout the application’s life cycle * Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources once deployed * Continue to improve code quality by tracking, reducing and avoiding technical debt * Lead and coordinate efforts to successfully resolve 4th level escalations in a timely and professional manner   Required Knowledge and Skills * Expertise in Object oriented analysis, design, and programming * Strong understanding of relational databases (specifically SQL Server) and experience with database design. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Experience working in an Agile environment with Scrum methodologies * Good interpersonal communication skills. * Documented experience with mentoring and assisting junior engineers and team members * A can-do attitude and ability to make a positive impact to our culture * Ability to always put the customer first   Basic Requirements:  * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field * 9+ years’ of professional experience building applications with object-oriented architecture Preferred Knowledge and Skills: * Experience with FoxPro is preferred; however, candidates with the ability and willingness to learn FoxPro will also be considered  * 7+ year of Experience in C# and the .NET Framework * 6+ years of experience with a microservices architecture * 4+ years of experience in Angular 4 or above * 4+ years of public cloud experience * 1+ year of inventory / warehouse management * Previous experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical experience working with interfaces such as HL7, FHIR.
