We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer Lead to join a dynamic Technology Team. This is not a managerial role detached from development—you will be deeply involved in daily coding, designing, and delivering cutting-edge solutions that power global post-trade operations.
What You’ll Work On
You will lead and develop the application, a critical integration platform connecting global market systems with retail banking payment gateways and external networks like SWIFT. Your work will directly impact the organization’s ability to automate and streamline payment and settlement processes worldwide, especially focusing on the global ISO20022 migration program.

MUST HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Java 8, Tomcat, Jetty
Spring Boot Framework
JavaScript, HTML
Oracle Coherence, Oracle Database
Collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence, GitHub
CI/CD tools: Maven, Jenkins, Ansible
Linux environment
Agile methodology
Nice-to-Have
UI development experience
Microservice architecture

QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree in IT or related field
Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT, preferably on large, complex global projects
Strong hands-on Java and Linux application development experience
Solid background in automated testing, DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline setup
Experience with banking applications and production support management
Excellent project, change, and time management skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
Proactive, self-driven, able to work independently under pressure
Bonus: Exposure to SWIFT messaging/ISO20022, treasury products, and back-office workflows

As an Engineer Lead
You will:
Lead multiple POD teams delivering business-critical features using a DevOps approach
Act as both application analyst and developer to design and implement IT solutions
Own and manage the ISO20022 migration program across 50+ countries
Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze needs and recommend IT solutions
Facilitate communication and maintain strong relationships with key contacts
Ensure high-quality deliverables through rigorous testing and documentation
Maintain production stability and provide incident support
