Responsibilities Maintains and repairs heating, cooling, and ventilation systems to ensure consistent and reliable environmental control. Services and troubleshoots refrigeration systems and related accessories. Repairs and calibrates pneumatic and electronic equipment and temperature control systems. Maintains and tests emergency electrical systems to ensure readiness during power outages. Installs, maintains, and repairs locks and door hardware. Performs routine and emergency maintenance on electrical systems throughout the facility. Tests, inspects, and repairs fire safety equipment, including alarms and sprinkler systems. Maintains and services patient care equipment to support safe and effective clinical operations. Conducts day-to-day running repairs to support the continuous and safe operation of hospital services. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Completed courses in apprenticeship program for journeyman engineer. Experience: Four years minimum experience. Knowledge of heating cooling and ventilation. Licensure Current valid applicable state driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements.
