As a Modeling & Simulation Engineer in the R&D group, you will be responsible for developing advanced modeling and simulation environments for electrical, thermal, and mechanical systems and enclosures used in distributed energy resources and power distribution. Collaborating with subject matter experts, product strategy teams, and systems engineers, you will create accurate and efficient simulations that meet requirements and support product development. Through your expertise, you will play a key role in driving innovation and performance improvements in distributed energy and power distribution systems.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Experience: 6 months related work experience or academic/internship experience with multi-physics modeling (e.g., Simulink, Simscape, Simcenter Amesim, GT-Suite), CFD (e.g., Fluent), or FEA tools (e.g., Ansys, Abaqus, COMSOL); familiarity with renewable energy systems and power distribution concepts preferred

Education: Advanced degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with demonstrated simulation experience
Experience: Experience with ML models, controls software verification (SIL/MIL/HIL), system simulation (CFD/FEA), control systems (BMS, thermal, energy management), and version control tools (e.g., Git) preferred
Travel: 5-10%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
