Description
Maintenance Engineer – Key Responsibilities. Support installation, commissioning, and stabilization of U171 project equipment. Provide maintenance support for V3 line extended production volumes starting Q2 to ensure high equipment availability. Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems. Troubleshoot PLC‑based machines, automation, sensors, drives, and robotics to minimize unplanned downtime. Execute root cause analysis (RCA) for repeated breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions. Coordinate with OEMs and vendors during machine commissioning, trials, and technical issue resolution. Drive OEE improvement, downtime reduction, and reliability initiatives on U171 and V3 production lines. Prepare and maintain maintenance documentation, PM schedules, and breakdown records. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, SOPs, and statutory requirements. Qualifications – Maintenance Engineer KMH Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering. Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in maintenance of manufacturing / automotive production facilities. Technical Competency: Hands‑on experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance activities. Automation Knowledge: Exposure to PLC‑controlled machines, automation systems, sensors, drives, and basic robotics. Project & Production Exposure: Experience in new machine installation, commissioning, or supporting high‑volume production lines. Problem Solving & Safety: Proven experience in breakdown handling, root cause analysis, and adherence to plant safety standards and SOPs.
Responsibilities
