WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in process engineering, preferably in the development of manufacturing processes for cathode materials, with a specific focus on powder handling experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, or other relevant sectors.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems, control systems, and equipment design.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process or Mechanical Engineer with a background in mechanical, automation, or related engineering fields to join our dynamic Engineering Department. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the concept and basic design phase of the manufacturing process for cathode materials. Your expertise in process / mechanical engineering, automation, equipment design, and project management will be essential in developing innovative solutions and ensuring the successful implementation of the manufacturing process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Concept Development: Lead the conceptualization and development of the manufacturing process for cathode materials, considering factors such as material characteristics, process flow, equipment selection, and safety considerations.
• Basic Design: Generate the basic design of the manufacturing process, including process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, material handling systems, utilities requirements, and control strategies.
• Equipment Selection and Design: Identify and select appropriate equipment and machinery for the manufacturing process. Collaborate with equipment suppliers, mechanical engineers, and vendors to design and optimize equipment specifications, with a focus on powder handling experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, or other relevant sectors.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvement, considering factors such as yield, quality, cost, and environmental impact. Propose innovative solutions and modifications to improve process performance.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards throughout the manufacturing process, particularly regarding powder handling in sensitive industries.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including process specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and equipment manuals, to ensure consistent and safe operation of the manufacturing process.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of the cathode materials manufacturing process within the overall production system.
• Project Management: Manage projects related to the development and implementation of the cathode materials manufacturing process, including timeline development, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the manufacturing process, analyze data, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity, with a focus on powder handling experience in pharmaceutical, food, or other relevant industries.
