We are committed to building a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus—where everyone contributes to making Ezee Fiber the easiest and most trusted fiber provider in the industry.   JOB SUMMARY   Ezee Fiber is seeking a skilled Fiber Network Engineer/Field Investigator to perform field verification, collect network data, and support backbone and backhaul route design for our expanding fiber network.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Conduct field verification and data acquisition of network equipment locations. • Assist in high-level backbone and backhaul route design to support network expansion. • Perform field investigations of backbone/backhaul routes to assess construction feasibility, including: • DOT, railroad, and pipeline crossings • Flood control and waterway crossings • Bridge attachments, traffic control, and lane closure challenges • Congested rights-of-way and existing utilities • Conduct neighborhood field assessments to identify construction or deployment challenges such as: • Competitor landscape • Traffic and access considerations • Equipment and vehicle staging requirements   QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Telecommunication is preferred but not required, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) field operations, design, or planning. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Earth. • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in the field. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills. • Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, spreadsheets, and as-builts. • A proactive, dependable, and solution-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and grow. • Practical understanding of the permit process for city/county/DOT/railroad permits. • Intermediate knowledge of GIS systems is required.   CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS • Valid Driver’s License – Required   PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
