The role involves preparing and reviewing submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards, coordinating with procurement, and securing timely approvals to support smooth project executionKey Accountability Areas Review and prepare MEP material submittals as per project requirements. Should have experience in both mechanical and electrical discipline. Ensure all materials comply with specifications, international standards, and regulatory codes. Coordinate with procurement to secure timely delivery of approved materials. Follow up with suppliers and manufacturers for technical documents and certifications. Maintain updated logs and tracking sheets for material submittals and approvals. Liaise with consultants and clients to obtain necessary approvals. Ensure proper storage, handling, and installation of materials at site. Proven experience in material engineering for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, low current, etc.). Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, ISO, BS, etc.) and local codes. Experience in material approval workflows, documentation, and procurement coordination. Proficiency in MS Office and document control systems. Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
