Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As part of the leadership team at Angaston, this pivotal role aims to organise the mechanical maintenance services for our long-term success. This position is accountable for mechanical maintenance in the Plant, supporting a maintenance team to ensure the safe, compliant and reliable operation of mechanical infrastructure.
The position will require proactive, innovative clear thinking while including management and other departments to achieve these maintenance targets in line with operational requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and deliver predictive and preventative maintenance strategies, shutdown scopes, and life cycle plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage facilities and service providers to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely maintenance outcomes.
  • Drive plant reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset life to lower production costs.
  • Provide effective governance, communication, and risk management to support operational targets.
