Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineer specializing in Construction Supervision to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing mechanical aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Supervise mechanical installations on construction sites, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems Review and approve mechanical shop drawings and submittals Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codes Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues Prepare detailed reports on construction progress, quality control, and safety measures Analyze and optimize mechanical systems for energy efficiency and performance Manage project timelines and budgets related to mechanical aspects of construction Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to the team Ensure all mechanical installations meet required standards and regulations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on construction supervision Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and fire protection systems Familiarity with building codes and regulations in the UAE Experience with project management tools and techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently Effective communication and interpersonal skills Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
