Description

Primary Objective of the position: Work in coordination with the Manager/Team Leader on projects and assignments such as, SFA Order Processing, Concept design, Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CAD, and CO to maintain desired quality levels set by the organisation. Job Responsibility Work on SFA Order Processing, Engineering Support, New Product Development and VA/VE, Quality Improvement Understanding customer requirements and delivering as per need Work on design and development of part/assembly, & Provide design packages including 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures Interact with other design team members to meet and optimise product design requirements. Accept additional roles and responsibilities as required Adherence to the project management process set by the organisation Job Requirements Minimum Diploma/B.E. in mechanical Engineering with relevant exposure to a design environment. 3-5 years of experience in Creo in the sheet metal domain is a must Experience in Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CR/CO Working experience on any PLM tools, e.g. Windchill or PD cloud, will be an added advantage Knowledge of the sheet metal manufacturing process must Experience in Cooling Systems/HVAC system enclosure design is required Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn and organised Experience in handling large CAD assemblies in CREO and managing modifications as required. Working experience in External Simplified representation is an added advantage. Physical & Environmental Requirements: - (To be used mainly for manufacturing jobs.)
