Currently, we are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to work collaboratively with our Fabrication Shop in Anderson, California. This position is not remote and will require living in the commutable Anderson area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis in machine design, related field, or equivalent experience
• 3 years’ experience in the lumber industry and/or machine design preferred
• Experience with SolidWorks or 3D modeling software required, FEA analysis-experienced is a plus
• Knowledge of hydraulics, drives, welding, fabrication, and machining preferred
• Machine center alignment and installation experience preferred
• Able to contribute creative solutions and succeed in an innovative environment
• Possess strong problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
