As a Metallurgical Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of process development, customer collaboration, and technical problem-solving — shaping the future of our products and our technology. Responsibilities: Engineer the Process: Develop and optimize metallurgical practices for centrifugal casting, from melt preparation to solidification control driving final properties and part performance. Collaborate with Customers: Translate technical requirements into solutions, provide metallurgical expertise and build strong partnerships. Drive innovation: Investigate alloy behavior, microstructure, and mechanical performance to push the boundaries of casting technology. Solve Challenges: Work side-by-side with production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements that make our processes better, faster and cheaper. Lead Documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations that influence leadership and customers. Champion Improvement: Advance efficiency in melting, casting and heat treatment operations. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s in metallurgical engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred. 2+ years of foundry or casting industry experience preferred; centrifugal casting expertise and AOD experience are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of stainless steel, nickel, cobalt, and/or copper-based alloys. Experience with heat treatment, microstructure analysis, and mechanical testing. Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across departments. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with customers on technical matters.
