We’re looking for a Engineer to join our teams based in either Birmingham or Nottingham, to lead and coordinate the activities and resources involved in the facilitation of Technical Surveys.
These roles will have a hybrid working approach, where typically you’ll spend 2 days per week in the office and 3 days working from home.

Please note that you will be required to drive as part of your role, and you will need to have no more than 3 points to be considered for this position and during employment.

• Ensure the health and safety needs and wellbeing of customers and employees are fully considered and accounted for throughout the planning and delivery of each service activity.
• Collaborate with Engineering colleagues, SDF Contractors, TST Contractors, Project Managers, Service Delivery Managers and Route Managers to ensure that the technical surveys programmes supports the regional captial programmes.
• Process survey packages, facilitate the delivery of survey works that support the improvement and/or renewal of assets.
• To support the capture and maintenance of roads asset data and condition information in the relevant database(s) GIS Mapping systems, in line with agreed standards and timescales.

• Ensure correct cost capture across all contracts, support preparation of survey forecasts, associated risk profile and processing of payment applications.Develop the technical survey briefs provided to the design and construction contractors for improvement and renewals work.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
