Under direction of Senior Engineer - Networks, you will lead a small, dedicated team and manage maintenance contracts and minor projects for Water and Wastewater networks. This role involves overseeing procurement, providing engineering technical guidance and customer advice and ensuring asset maintenance levels of service are met. Assisting management of a $12M annual budget, you will support operational planning, monitor performance, and act as the key technical contact for network maintenance. Responsibilities
  • Lead a small dedicated team of 5 technical professionals and tradespersons.
  • Manage maintenance contracts for water and wastewater networks assets.
  • Deliver engineering support for the operation and maintenance of Council’s Water Supply and Wastewater network systems.
  • Providing engineering technical advice, adhering to regulations, specifications, standards and Council’s policy/procedures to both internal and external contacts relating to water and sewerage operations.
