Job Description Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise firewalls, including Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point Implement and manage firewall policies, NAT rules, VPN tunnels, security policies, and traffic routing technologies Configure, administer, and optimize load balancers to ensure high availability, efficient traffic distribution, and optimal application performance Support Linux-based hosting environments, including FTP server administration, user management, and secure file transfer services Monitor network performance, investigate security alerts, and independently troubleshoot network, security, and connectivity issues Perform routine security audits and recommend improvements to strengthen the organization's security posture Maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, security policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Participate in an after-hours on-call support rotation to respond to critical network incidents and ensure continuous operational availability Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and industry best practices Person Specification Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering, Network Security, or Systems Administration Required Certifications: Fortinet NSE 4 and CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or an equivalent Routing & Switching certification (Mandatory); Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) (Optional) Proven experience administering and troubleshooting Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point firewalls Experience configuring and managing load balancers or Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) Solid knowledge of Linux administration, including FTP servers, user permissions, and web hosting environments Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLAN, DNS, VPN technologies, Network security principles Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively managing multiple priorities Excellent communication and documentation skills
