We are currently looking for an experienced property maintenenca engineer to join our team at our hotel in Stockholm, Sweden. ABOUT AC HOTEL BY MARRIOTT SWEDEN – AN EXCEPTIONAL WORKPLACE Your workplace will be Sweden’s first AC by Marriott hotel, built in 2020. The hotel features 223 rooms, 4 conference rooms, and an extensive members’ spa. AC Hotels by Marriott are known for their modern design, functionality, and international atmosphere. THE ROLE As property maintenance engineer, you are responsible for the technical operation and maintenance of the hotel. You play an important role in ensuring a safe, well-functioning, and well-maintained property. You work closely with all hotel departments as well as external suppliers and contractors, contributing to the hotel’s overall performance and guest satisfaction. WHAT YOU WILL DO Operate and maintain the hotel’s technical systems and equipment Ensure fire safety within the property Prepare modifications to existing equipment and installations of new equipment Troubleshoot and investigate technical faults and deviations Collaborate with various departments to ensure the hotel reaches its goals Work according to guidelines and current environmental and safety regulations Coordinate and supervise suppliers and contractors during their work at the hotel Perform other maintenance tasks according to the hotel’s needs WHAT YOU BRING Several years of professional experience and technical competence within the field Service-minded, responsible, and flexible attitude Strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Good knowledge of both English and Swedish, spoken and written Good computer skills Experience within the hotel industry is considered an advantage WORKING HOURS Working hours follow a rotating schedule, mainly Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend work may occur depending on hotel needs, but very rarely. As benefit, you will be entitled to Odyssey & Marriott employee rates within our hotels globally.
