Key Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of all hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building infrastructure. - Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel operations. - Conduct preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. - Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies at all times. - Assist in emergency situations, including power outages, plumbing issues, or fire safety protocols. - Support the development and implementation of energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices. Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Hotel Engineer, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in the hospitality industry. - Strong knowledge of building systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills. - Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and vendors. - Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. - Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance are preferred. - High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship is a plus.
