The Impact You'll Make  Danfoss Drives is looking for a talented and motivated Power Electronics Engineer with Solid understanding of both power converters and motors to join our agile and dedicated team in Chennai. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge power electronics. You’ll be part of a team responsible for new product development. As a part of this work, you will be involved in both design and testing activitiesWhat You’ll Be Doing   Design, develop, and test on different sections of a drive like switch-mode power supplies, inverters, gate drives, rectifiers, DC link, and related systems. Work across the full development cycle – from schematics to ECAD, lab testing, and production handover. Support cost estimation, FMEA, and other development processes. Simulation activity includes both circuit and physics-based simulation. Contribute to EMC evaluations and compliance efforts (expert-level experience not required). What We're Looking For   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Drives or a related field, with 3 – 5 years of professional experience.  Experience with switch-mode power supplies, inverters, DC link, and gate drive circuitry is preferred. Hands-on experience in simulation tools like MATLAB, pSPICE, PSIM, Ansys, etc are added advantages. Familiarity with EMC principles and testing is a plus.
