Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to perform design, simulations and do analysis of high power Power Electronic circuits to meet customer specific technical, cost and market related technology. "* Demonstrates the knowledge in high power electronics design especially in Power Electronics DC-DC converter and Inverter design Experience in Magnetics design in High frequency transformer and inductor Hands-on experience in Power Electronics Simulation tools like PSpIce and LTSpice Simulation. Good in circuit level analysis like steady state and transient analysis Prepares schematics by using computer assisted engineering design software Spice Responsible for activity planning, execution and closing of assigned activities. Plans, Organizes, and leads smaller assigned tasks / projects. Good knowledge on PCB design guidelines for SI, high speed design & EMI/EMC." Required: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Power Electronics and Drives Engineering. "* Total relevant work experience: Mtech/ME with 3+ years or BTech/BE with 4+ years. Hands-on experience in Power Electronics design like converters and Inverters, Simulation tools like PSpIce Simulation, LTSpice Simulation. It would be good to be aware of Ansys simulation." "Required: Sound knowledge of electrical & electronic design especially in Inverter and converters design Experience of full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing. Experience in designing and implementing different AC-DC, DC-DC converters & motor inverters for different applications, including the selection of switching devices, gate driver selection, modulation techniques and filter design. Knowledge of Si and Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) power semiconductors and their application in power electronics to improve efficiency and performance. Ability to integrate power electronic systems into larger electrical systems, understanding system-level interactions, and ensuring seamless compatibility. Proficiency in troubleshooting power electronic systems, conducting failure analysis, and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues and improve product reliability. Should be able to analyze the analog & digital Circuits for Functional, performing FMEA's, Stress, Derating, Worst-case & Tolerance study using analysis. Good to have Knowledge of DO-160, DO178/DO254, IEC, SAE standards and Certification processes. Desired: Good knowledge on PCB design guidelines & EMI/EMC. Strong knowledge in the design and development of electronics, both high power and low power, analog, and digital. Strong knowledge on Electronics controller product lifecycle management within Aerospace. Good working experience on simulations any of the tool Pspice, Matlab, Simulink, SiMetrix, PLECS. Special: Automotive/Aero/Defense domain knowledge for High power design & layout rules expertise Strong knowledge of EMI / EMC certification and environmental compliances - CE, e/E markings process."
